These terms apply to the $1 Super Early Bird reservation offered on our reservation page.

Your $1 buys a place in line and the right to the Super Early Bird price when the Kickstarter campaign opens. It is not a purchase of the device, and no contract of sale is formed.

A reservation puts you under no obligation to buy anything later. If you decide Olin is not for you, you do nothing and owe nothing.

Your $1 is refundable on request for 90 days from the date of your reservation, with no reason required. Email admin@olin-rituals.com and we refund it. After 90 days it is no longer refundable on request, but it still comes back to you automatically under clauses 4 and 5. The refund policy sets out the timings.

If no campaign launches by June 30, 2027, every reservation is refunded automatically. You do not need to ask, and you do not need to have been watching for the date.

When you pledge on Kickstarter, your $1 is refunded to you. It is not deducted from your pledge: Kickstarter collects the full pledge amount and cannot net off a deposit taken here, so we send your $1 back instead.

The Early Bird price and the number of units available at that price are set by the campaign. A reservation holds your place in line — it does not hold stock beyond the stated window.

Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

These terms are governed by German law. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence are unaffected.

We may update these terms. Any change applies only to reservations made after the change — the terms you agreed to when you reserved are the terms that govern your reservation. The date at the top of this page tells you which version is current.

This website presents Olin, an essential-oils diffuser with circadian light that is currently in development. The only payment taken on this site is the $1 Super Early Bird reservation described above, and that reservation is not a purchase of the device. The device itself is not sold here; when the crowdfunding campaign opens, pledges will be governed by the campaign platform's own terms, not these.

If you join the launch list, you are subscribing to a launch notification — not placing an order, reserving a unit, or entering any purchase commitment.

Product visuals on this site are renders of the current design. Because Olin is still in development, specifications, materials, features, pricing, and timelines may change before delivery. We present everything in good faith and update the site as the product evolves.

Olin is a wellness and lifestyle product, not a medical device. The disclaimer is part of these terms — please read it, especially the essential-oil safety notes.

Everything on this site — the Olin name and wordmark, product design, renders, photography, and copy — belongs to us (or is licensed to us) and is protected by intellectual-property law. You may browse and share links; you may not reproduce, modify, or commercially exploit the content without our written permission.

Please don't misuse the site: no attempting to breach its security, scraping it at scale, or using it in any unlawful way.

The site links to third-party services (for example Stripe, the crowdfunding platform, and published research). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, and nothing here limits the refund commitments made above.
