Privacy policy

Olin collects as little personal data as we can get away with: an email address if you choose to join the wait-list, and anonymous usage statistics. This page explains the details and your rights.
Who we are
This website is operated by the founders of Olin, based in Berlin, Germany. For anything related to your personal data, contact us at hello@olin-rituals.com .
What we collect, and why
- Wait-list email. If you submit the "Get early access" form, we collect the email address (and any optional answers) you provide. We use it for one purpose: telling you when Olin launches. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
- Usage statistics. We use privacy-focused analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate region, device type. This data is aggregated and does not identify you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the site.
- Language preference. A functional cookie remembers the language you picked (English, Français, Español). It contains no personal data.
We never sell your personal data. We are not running advertising trackers on this site today; if that changes as we approach launch, we will update this page and the cookie choices before any such tracking goes live.
Who processes it for us
A few services process data on our behalf, under their own data processing agreements: Tally (the wait-list form), Vercel (website hosting and analytics), and our email delivery provider for the launch announcement. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU; where they do, transfers rely on recognized safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Wait-list emails are kept until the launch campaign ends or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first — then deleted. Aggregated analytics contain no personal data and are kept for trend analysis.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will sort it out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — for us in Berlin, the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information ( datenschutz-berlin.de ).
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change — for example when we start taking orders — we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
